· Salary – Scale C Point 4 £9.55 per hour
· Permanent
· Part Time
· 26.5 hours per week
· Term Time plus 1 week
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic classroom teaching assistant.
Your weekly working hours will be: 26.50 hours (5 days) per week as an classroom teaching assistant. Part of the role will also include lunch time duties.
You will be someone who:
· Is passionate about working with children and is able to inspire children to be the best that they can be
· Has experience working with primary aged children including delivering sessions
· Is organised, proactive and confident in delivering prepared lessons
· Is able to ‘Bring learning to life’
· Has excellent numeracy/literacy skills – GCSE grade C or above (or NV2 equivalent)
· Has an NVQ3 or equivalent in teaching assistance or equivalent experience
· Is able to work constructively as part of a team
· Has good communication skills and can demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours
· Has a clear understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe in school.
· Is willing to deal with a child’s personal care, if required.

Sadly, due to the current circumstances, visits to our wonderful school are not available at the moment however online meetings (Zoom, Teams) are welcomed and can be easily arranged.
Rudham Church of England Primary Academy is part of Hope Federation of Church of England Primary Academies (Brisley, Rudham and Weasenham) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to prove their identity, qualifications and enhanced DBS credentials before taking up the post.
This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
