DoNESC are looking for a Governance Officer/Trust Clerk to join the Team.
Salary scale: Band C £27,331 – £32,155
Benefits: Contributory pension scheme
Hours: 37 hours per week
(24 days holiday per annum, plus statutory bank holidays and discretionary Christmas holiday)

Reporting to: Head of Governance
PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE
To work closely with the Chair, Chief Executive and Trust Board to ensure that the Trust has in place sound
integrated policies, procedures, and structures and that it complies with all of its legal constitutional and
To ensure proceedings in all Trust schools are consistently applied, well communicated/ documented, and
conducted in accordance with the Articles of Association, the Master Funding Agreement, Scheme of
Delegation and other legislative frameworks.
To support all aspects of governance administration for the Diocese and its schools and academies, in
conjunction with governance colleagues.
To provide support and guidance to clerks and governors on Local Governing Bodies.
