We are looking for midday supervisor to assist support pupils during lunchtime under the direction of the Support Staff Lead and Headteacher.
Required to start as soon as possible 2021
5 hours per week working term time plus one week
Hours of work – 12:00 – 1.00pm Monday-Friday
Salary: NJC scale point 1, £9.25 per hour
We are looking for midday supervisor to assist support pupils during lunchtime under the direction of the Support Staff Lead and Headteacher. You will supervise children in all areas of the school, including the dining room, play areas and classroom in order to ensure the safety and good behaviour of the children.
Duties include supervision of the children during their meal to ensure that a good atmosphere is maintained and encouraging good eating habits while assisting younger children where necessary. The successful candidate will need to have the following qualities
- Reliability and good time-keeping skills.
- Can work flexibly and effectively as part of our team.
- Is proactive and can use their own initiative.
- Has a calm, caring and consistent approach and enjoys working with children.
- Can provide supervision and support to ensure that children play safely and productively.
- Will help meet the needs of the pupils, including serving dinners, cleaning and putting away tables.
