We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated person to support teaching and learning in our Reception class. This post is a part-time fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated person to support teaching and learning in our Reception class.  This post is a part-time fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave.

You will need to:

  • have experience of working with younger children;
  • have some understanding of high quality early years provision;
  • have a good understanding of how to motivate children to engage in their learning;
  • have good communication skills including being a good listener;
  • have energy, enthusiasm and an ability to form positive relationships with the children;

Hours of work:

Tuesday to Friday – 8.45am to 3.15pm with an hour’s unpaid break for lunch)

Little Snoring Primary Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This includes obtaining references and ensures compliance with the DBS process.

This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
