We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (for a Maternity Cover) to work within our SEMH Specialist Resource Base.
Start date: 15 March 2021

24 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 3pm with half an hour lunch
term time plus one week.

Salary will be paid on NJC Scale 5/6

We are looking for someone who will:-

• Be able to use initiative to support the social, emotional and mental health needs of pupils and any other special requirements.
• Have relevant experiences of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including challenging behaviour.
• Deliver activities and assess progress and attainment.
• Be able to keep accurate records.
• Be flexible and able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a supportive team
• Have experience of working with very challenging children
• Be resilient and have a sense of humour!

Candidates should have an NVQ 2, GCSE English and Maths grade 4/C or equivalent.
